IT'S THE TIME YOU SPENT WITH YOUR FLOWERS THAT MAKES THEM MATTER

MAROONS 5 : M-5 BLOCK

I never thought at first that I would become close to these people but I did and it sure was worth all the effort. Being in a new environment you hold on to the thought that everybody is open to new friendships and it was what gave me the motivation to go to class on the first day of college. New faces with different kinds of life stories and I am happy to say that in some ways I got to see the real persons behind those faces. People who have also had their share of ups and downs, people who had best friends, people who had talents, people who sooner-rather than later-mattered to me very much. 

FIRST DAY

 New relationships were built, these people who were strangers to me on the first day became someone in my life after just a few days of being together. In our first few days in class we've already been late for a class, sing in front of the class, eat lunch together and many more fun and unforgettable moments. Together we crammed for assignments, studied for tests and became the buddies for our everyday activities. Living and Learning with them made me realize that education is not our preparation for life, most of the time it is life itself. College is a new journey in our life that makes us  optimistic realists in dealing with our responsibilities and priorities. Who said there ain't fun in living? Studying? sure, we go to the library and make a rap song of terms to remember; need to memorize an order of events? well we have our own dance routines for that too; bring material for experiments? no need, we have volunteers in the block to buy us stuff in SC hahaha. In our block, it totally is WALANG IWANAN - pagnag-cut hindi ka nag-iisa kasi dadamayan ka ng iba hahaha. 

Squatter ba kamo? Siyempre Hindi... yung block na ito ay may mga tao na iba't iba ang personalidad pero sa kalagitnaan ng lahat nakakahanap kami ng bagay na kami ay mapagsama-sama. The differences in people matter because that's what makes each person interesting - that's how we are in the block. 

FIRST CHEM L.E. FACES

Weird man minsan ang mga tao pero sabay sabay naman hahaha. The fun in it is that everyday we get to exercise our heart by laughing our guts out and being like a lifelong barkada. The block just has a way in making a laugh out of everything and smiling every time, even when there's actually nothing to smile about. STRESS = SMILE

MATH TIME = TULOG + REST + LAX TIME

Oh well, I can only count in my hand the number of times we sat upfront in our big math class. Our sitting places were always at the very back where most of the time we pretend to listen and every once in a while nod in the direction of the Prof hahaha. The most funny times would be when the prof goes around to check if we are answering the exercises and people start to panic asking for yellow paper hahaha. This class can also be awarded - "THE MOST CUT CLASS" or the "TIME-TO-CALL-JOBI-FOR-LUNCH-DELI" hahaha. In discretion with our actions, we only cut because we only understand the lessons in the small class. But you see, we have most of our block adventures during this period of the day and I guess making memories that matter is what really counts in life. So... don't judge hehehehe. 

Every limitation is a challenge to go for something greater, so go beyond boundaries and open yourself to an adventure. Everything important is not taught inside the classroom, sometimes you have to find your way out and make that limit your opportunity to experience more. (This is me reasoning with myself hahaha)

CHOCOLATE KISS

Food Trippin' with the girls, always fun and always worth it because of full bellies. From Devil's cake to the all famous Choco Lava or what I call Burning Volcano hahaha. Our way of saying " We had a long day, now we need sweets to relieve ourselves from the stress of college tests..." FOOD IS OUR PAL. I mean we had special moments even in fastfoods? Jolibee eksenas were awesome.Who would have thought that a single phrase:

IT'S IN OPENING UP THAT WE GET TO HEAL

All of us would be in a puddle of tears after a few minutes. The laughter and even the tears we shared all added up to the friendship that we have now. Now I get to wake up everyday knowing that I have more stories to tell and realize that as more people come into my life, the things that came along the way unexpectedly all made sense in the end because of them. 

GEOLOGY MUSEUM

The only class that we had a Christmas Party was Maam Has' Class which by the way was as challenging as ever. This was the epic class where we were late on the very first day, why??? certainly it's because of food hahaha. It turned out to be quite a ride and an experience to be in her class.

Let them in and be open to building new relationships. These people have made their mark in my life and I will treasure them always. Thank you for a wonderful adventure guys! I do hope the friendship will last a life time.
